Machine riding Honda
Honda still surprising us with their developments and research in the field of transport staff. The latter is what you see in the image above, a walking machine. Or almost, because define this gadget is complex.
Designed for people with mobility problems, this invention part of the foreground with the robot Asimo, and applying its technology, equipment assistance to walk to the people who carry with assistance from the hip movements.

The system, which weighs less than 3 kg, has a range of 2 hours and that is built with three steps, to adapt as much as possible to each user.

HAL, suit-skeleton from Japan
After several rounds give the world since it was shown in 2005 for the first time, the robot (define complicated) HAL has already been submitted formally in society in Japan.

HAL is a kind of skeleton robotic mission that is helping people with mobility problems or those requiring rehabilitation. The suit, after several years of development, has managed to build with a weight so low that it was not a drawback to its use. And you may now begin to market.
The curious thing sankay of this invention, a professor at University, is that since its inception was conceived as a technology that should help, not engage in any other purpose. In fact, probably would have improved faster if he had decided to bring the technology to military camp, not because he lacked suitors. He, however, did not want that happen.
HAL does not require great efforts to move it or use it. Va. equipped with sensors on nerve signals from the brain, intuyen movements that the body wants to make and aid in this task.

Nexia, emotional robot from MIT
The robot Nexia personally fear that gives me more confidence. Nevertheless, one must admit that the people at MIT has done a great job.
Nexia is a robot who had been called or emotionally able to convey feelings with gestures similar to those that humans represent our face. They do this because the robot is able to move his body, hands and parts of his face similar to what we do as humans.

The idea and development of such robots as Nexia pursues the idea of a future integration of humanoid robots with people without causing rejection and a more comprehensive manner by both parties.

Sony Rolly color
It seems unlikely that a product like Sony Rolly has a great market success. This music player has a fairly limited autonomy (a maximum of 5 hours) and limited ability to store music, only 1 GB, plus a fairly high price, about 350 dollars.

Despite this, Sony insists on trying again and does so with a new model in black, which will add some color caps for the side with whom we can replace those that come by default.
As we see no significant development in paragraph hardware, something strange taking into account the prices at which lies flash memory, which should bring enough capacity Sony Rolly. But reshaping the website of the device, which can be found for this little robot dance.
The lids side will be available in red, blue and silver and have a price around 12 euros a change.

ApriPoko, the robot command universal Toshiba
At first glance, the Toshiba ApriPoko has reminded me a reincarnation of NEC’s PaPeRo we saw at 3GSM a couple of years ago, but the task of this little robot is quite different: function as a remote control.
At the moment is in prototype stage, but in its final version will be a universal remote control and voice activated automatically to learn of our actions. For example, when you first start TV will ask us and we have done, when what we say, store it, then he can perform this action.

For now only able to do simple actions like turning on the TV or change channels, but seeks to implement many more and put up for sale. The “bug” measured nearly 30 centimeters tall and weighs just over two kilos. And no need to worry because to rebel and try to annihilate mankind: You can not walk and, for now, the infrared are not fatal.

BigDog, the robot SUV
As much as the films we paint with a future autonomous robots and very advanced, so far we are accustomed to the vast majority of them have problems of stability, either because they only work on flat surfaces or, like Asimo, because they have some tropezón another.
Therefore, the movement of BigDog is so natural to fear. This robot, developed by Boston Dynamics company with funds from the Department of Defenesa U.S., is cuadrúpedo and can be moved by a multitude of surfaces, including irregular, maintaining the balance.
Especially noteworthy was the moment that still standing even after a strong blow side, just as when recovering the balance to slip on ice. The robot weighs about 100 pounds and is capable of carrying up to 150 kilos more.

Are they enforced? I imagine that the army has its own ideas for it, but you leave comments for us to the your deis, provided they are not too “evil”.

Samsung autonomous aspirations
Remember the mascot ? Yes, that autonomous vacuum cleaner, the Roomba, with much fun when we recorded one of our first videoanálisis.
The fact is that this kind of vacuum cleaners that work alone, have performed quite acceptable. Samsung in fact already has a new model on the market, the VC-RE70V.

The operation of this vacuum autonomous Samsung is similar to other: there are sensors, in this case to 15, avoiding obstacles and are responsible to indicate the best way to vacuum. In addition, it carries a camera that automatically generates a kind of roadmap for not repeat areas and clean. As the Roomba, when seen to be downloaded, returns to his base and becomes laden alone. Then cleanup continues where it left off.

Kneepads to recharge our gadgets
Bring the shipper of gadgets with us all day it seems that one option is to be permanently connected to the hopes that the battery was not invented perfect. Doing so could take part in the discovery of a few scientists from the U.S. and Canada, who have invented a device mounted on the knee is capable of storing energy as we walk. The news has already come out in the journal Science.
In tests, an apparatus in each leg of volunteers managed to generate a total of 5 W, which gives us energy to run up to 10 mobile phone. The experiments were conducted with people walking on tapes running at a normal pace, so that spending does not exceed the energy generated. At the end has shown that these can be generated with just a step 5W traditional and effortlessly by the person. It takes for this energy that is wasted at the end of the balancing leg. Even a person running could generate up to 54W.
The experiment opens the way back to something very always wanted: that our body, with daily activities and without imposing extra effort for us to achieve generate energy to recharge gadgets for example. Applicators may be less interested in giving the feed pumps insulin in diabetic patients.
Tests conducted so far did not take this kind of energy directly from the body but consists of shoes or backpacks, but had never achieved such good results.
